Summary
This document constitutes a written notification of Genexis’ decision to discontinue sales for the FiberTwist XGS2310B and XGS2410 and all variants thereof.
Genexis has successor products readily available for all affected product models, and will support its customers in the migration towards these new products and associated software platforms.
Last Time Sales
New orders for the affected products are accepted until March 31, 2025.
Genexis reserves the right to supply alternative products from standard stock availability in the event of a shortfall of discontinued products. Orders received during the Last Time Buy period will be handled in the order in which they are received by Genexis. No products will be secured towards non-committed forecasts.
Last Time Shipment
Deliveries may be scheduled until September 30, 2025.
Genexis reserves the right to limit new feature development efforts for the affected product(s) before the Last Time Shipment date.
End of Support Life
Support for the affected products will continue until September 30, 2030.
Genexis will support all units in the field for major issues and security fixes only until the End of Support Life date. After the End of Support Life date, an additional Extended Support Life can be offered based on a professional service fee.

The FiberTwist XSG2410B(-S) replaces the FiberTwist XGS2310B and FiberTwist XGS2410. Since this also involves a platform change of InterOS software, interoperability tests are required for the FiberTwist XGS2410B(-S) before deploying them interchangeably in the field. Please request samples of the FiberTwist XGS2410B at your account manager. In case of any interoperability issues or other technical questions, you can raise a request to the Genexis Tech Team via the Support Ticketing System. The Genexis Tech Team will assist you in integrating this successor product into your network.
The FiberTwist XGS2410B(-S) offers improvements compared to the previous generation. These improvements include:
- Default 11×11 cm FiberTwist form factor (instead of 18×18 cm for the XGS2410)
- Adjusted port naming, aligned with the OMCI standard (1/10GE instead of LAN)
- Increased recycled plastic percentage (from 45% to 90% for the XGS2410)
- New option for Premium Security Package (FiberTwist XGS2410B-S)
